The International Society of Oncologists from Pakistan (ISOP) is a global, not-for-profit professional platform that brings together Pakistani oncologists and cancer-care physicians working worldwide, in collaboration with oncology professionals based in Pakistan.
ISOP was conceived with a clear and pragmatic belief: meaningful contributions to cancer care in Pakistan do not require permanent relocation. Pakistani oncologists in the diaspora possess immense clinical expertise, academic experience, research exposure, and systems-level insight that can be effectively leveraged through structured collaboration, digital connectivity, and institutional partnerships.
Our society serves as a bridge—connecting global Pakistani oncology expertise with local clinicians, academic institutions, policymakers, and healthcare systems within Pakistan. Through this collaborative framework, ISOP aims to support and strengthen cancer care across the spectrum, including clinical practice, education, research, guideline development, access to care, affordability, and health policy.
ISOP is inclusive and multidisciplinary. While primarily physician-led, it actively engages surgical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists, radiologists, nuclear medicine specialists, palliative care physicians, researchers, and allied professionals who share a commitment to improving cancer outcomes in Pakistan.
Rooted in service, collaboration, and academic integrity, ISOP aspires to be a trusted global partner in Pakistan’s evolving oncology landscape—working with local stakeholders, not parallel to them.
